Cheat — also known as I Doubt It, Bullshit or Bluff — is the classic party game where lying is not just allowed, it is the whole point. On your turn you discard cards face down and claim they are the rank the table is looking for. Nobody can see them. Are you telling the truth? Doubtful players can call "Cheat!" and flip your cards: if you lied, you take the whole pile; if you were honest, the accuser does.

Here you can play Cheat online free, straight from the browser: hit Quick Play for a four-seat table in seconds, or create a private room for up to six players and share its five-character code. The AI fills empty seats, so the game starts even when you play alone.

Cheat in a nutshell

The whole deck of 52 cards is dealt out — four players get 13 each, five or six players see the first seats take one or two extra cards. Ranks climb in a fixed cycle from Ace up through King and back to Ace. On your turn you must place 1 to 4 cards face down and claim them as the required rank. Cards face down cannot be checked — until someone calls Cheat!

What happens on a Cheat! call?

Anyone apart from the player may challenge during the call window. The played cards are flipped:

The played cardsResult
All match the required rankThe challenge fails — the challenger picks up the whole pile
Any card is a different rankThe bluff is caught — the player picks up the whole pile

Frequently asked questions

How many players can play Cheat?

This online version seats four to six players at one table. Quick matches fill a four-seat table; empty seats are taken by AI players.

How many cards does everyone get?

The whole 52-card deck is dealt out: 13 each with four players; with five or six players the earliest seats receive one or two extra cards.

What rank do you play?

The table climbs a fixed cycle — Ace, 2, 3 … Queen, King, back to Ace — and every completed hand moves it up by one. The first hand of a round is Aces.

Can you lie in Cheat?

Yes — lying is the core of the game. You may mix off-rank cards into your face-down play, and if you hold no card of the required rank you must lie.

What happens when someone calls Cheat!?

The played cards are flipped. If they all match the required rank, the challenger takes the whole pile; if any card is wrong, the player who laid them takes it. Either way the next hand continues with the next rank.

Do you have to play on your turn?

Yes — there is no passing. You always place 1 to 4 cards face down, truthfully or not.

How do you win?

Be the first to empty your hand. Your last play must survive the Cheat! window — if it is challenged and caught, you take the pile back and the game continues.

Is this Cheat game really free?

Yes — play free at cheat.yeeqia.com directly in your browser, no download or sign-up required.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes, the site is mobile-first and runs in any modern Android or iOS browser, in English and Spanish.
